richard blount 0 Posted June 20, 2003 A kaleidoscope of colour, it gives me a feeling of fun. Very nicely created Elizabeth and the frame is perfect too - Richard. Link to comment
www.whitemountainphoto.com 0 Posted June 20, 2003 I really like this. May I ask, did you have to select and paint each petal to achieve this, if so it's well done and i'm sure very time consuming. Link to comment
miller1 0 Posted June 20, 2003 Yes Dana, I painted individual petals over and over til I felt I had the right blend,,I'm still not too sure about the center, but spent enough time to make it look "yummy". thanks everyone for looking, rating & commenting. Elizabeth Link to comment
livvie 0 Posted June 20, 2003 elisabeth - i love watching how your work is progressing -its truely an education. the colours are wonderful and the frame is a good balance - but...i prefer the other version (i do like it tho and i know many will prefer this one) i can well appreciate the time and effort to produce this particular version of the image- it shows great skill as does the ability to produce images to please different audiences Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2003 Beautiful and unique!-- and I was amazed to see that you hand painted each petal-- you've got my admiration! Craig Link to comment
timothy_willits 0 Posted June 21, 2003 Elizabeth, Of the "Sherbert" photos you have presented, I like this one best. VERY creative with vibrant colors. Link to comment
stefan1 0 Posted July 24, 2003 It is original and well done, but the colors do not appeal to me. I understand that you need to have a transition towards the frame but something more consistent with the center might have been better. Link to comment
martin_paul 0 Posted October 29, 2003 Looking at your ratings on this photo it is certain that you're either going to love this shot or hate it! Personally I love it! This shot actually inspired me to try something similar, though mine is far less complex than yours. I would be interested to know your technique used here. Best regards, Martin Paul. Link to comment
