Swirling Sherbert

A kaleidoscope of colour, it gives me a feeling of fun. Very nicely created Elizabeth and the frame is perfect too - Richard.

I really like this. May I ask, did you have to select and paint each petal to achieve this, if so it's well done and i'm sure very time consuming.

Yes Dana, I painted individual petals over and over til I felt I had the right blend,,I'm still not too sure about the center, but spent enough time to make it look "yummy". thanks everyone for looking, rating & commenting.

the colours are wonderful and the frame is a good balance - but...i prefer the other version (i do like it tho and i know many will prefer this one)

 

i can well appreciate the time and effort to produce this particular version of the image- it shows great skill as does the ability to produce images to please different audiences

It is original and well done, but the colors do not appeal to me. I understand that you need to have a transition towards the frame but something more consistent with the center might have been better.

Looking at your ratings on this photo it is certain that you're either going to love this shot or hate it! Personally I love it! This shot actually inspired me to try something similar, though mine is far less complex than yours. I would be interested to know your technique used here. Best regards, Martin Paul.
