For me what makes this photo is the wonderful bokeh of the well placed red flowers in the background. I creates a counterpoint to the red flower sitting in the child's hand and gives the photo symmetry.

It could just be the monitor that I am looking at this on but she seems a little soft. Nothing distracting and it may have been done on purpose for that matter just that I did notice it.

A lovely child in a lovely spring scene.
