I really this this. Excellent DOF and the detail you've captured is brilliant. Did you capture on a black background, achieve the effect post-processing or manage to isolate the flower using a flash?

Gary,

Thanks- glad you like it.  The bg is a piece of black foam board. I do have to increase blacks in levels a little to eliminate all noise or light in the black. It does take a little time.
