I handed my 20D down to my boy, Winston. He loves to go out in the

water to take pictures.

Thanks, Mike.  Now that you mention it, I should have let him borrow my macro lens instead of the 28-135 that I normally would use for this shot.  I was laying on the rocky shore shooting vertically with my 100-400 and it would have been much easier with the lens he had....or if I was just using my 100 macro, for that matter.:)

Thanks, Claudiu.  He listens and strives to please me more than I could ever ask of any dog, so there were never any worries whatsoever of it getting wet.  Although, he did start to get bored and slumped, which caused the lens, which I do use on occasion, to go under an inch or two.  It's fine though.  The camera I don't care about.  I haven't used it once since I bought the 7D 2 1/2 years ago.

What a gorgeous doggy, and photgraph. I'm more of a dog enthusiast than a photo enthusiast so the pup caught my eye. I'm new to this who photography thing but one of the reasons I started was to take pictures of my dogs (i have four) and my children. But as I see more and more pictures and learn more and more I'm beginning to be as enthusiastic about pictures!
