Thanks for dropping by and critiquing my 'ant macro' good suggestions by the way!! My Dad recently purchased this same lens for this very reason. He hasn't gotten a lot of bird captures but is hope to this summer and fall. Really is a fantastic lens. Kudos to you, ENJOY !!!
