This is one of a series of four pictures I took of these small meadows' flowers

(whose name, btw, it's unknown to me). My intention was to play with the

DOF to obtain an artistic interpretation of the reality. Don't know if I succeeded

so I'd like to know your opinion.

Thanx in advance,

Mauro

mauro, like the dreamy b/g you have created, and pink and green work well together. what does not work on any of the three images i have seen of this series of 4, would be your composition. all three have flowers hanging in and out of the frame, sort of like a portrait with but with only half a head. the type of images you have submitted today need special care when composing. to me they are the hardest flower images to work with, is much easier working with a single flower. when working with multiple flowers or lots of foliage and leaves that's when you have to be aware of how your borders are going to present. this is all of course just my opinion and am not offended if you choose to disregard the ravings of a semi old man.

Ciao Mauro, the effect is very good i think. i'd like to see the image cropped 1,2 cm from the bottom to erase the dark purple flower distracting the view.
