The jump between today and ancient times are a constant joy while you

pass through the medieval towns on the Le Puy route in south western

France during a walk on the Camino de Compostela.

I love everything about this photo: the texture of the old buildings, the lone walking woman, her long shadow, the colour tone, and the tilted frame.

It is now added to my favourite photo list.
