Ball and Lines

Urban abstract from tennis ball and shadows lines. Comments and critiques

the diagonal shadows cutting through textured ground dominate the photo. The tennis ball is placed near lower right golden cut and exactly 'caught' between lines of shadow and lines on the ground where it has a resting quality opposing dynamics of the lines - just its shadow is pulling it a bit downwards along the shadow lines (which is good because otherwise the ball would have seemed too static).

It would be interesting to see how this works when mirrored or turned upside-down so that diagonals (and shadow) point upwards ("read" in western reading direction)
