pdoyle 0 Posted June 19, 2003 The green light is telling me "go" but the rest of the scene is telling me "there's nowhere to go." That's the feeling it gives me, anyway. Very nice pic. An example of "B&W with a touch of color" that doesn't look gimmicky to me. Link to comment
jeff_oxford 0 Posted June 19, 2003 I really like your exposure setting on this shot. The blacks really stand out, making the foregroung somewhat abstract/mysterious. Your green light really takes over the spotlight (no pun intended)adding definition where only undefined black would have been. Nice. Link to comment
mariko 0 Posted June 21, 2003 I like the effect the colored light has in this photo. A very creative, interesting shot. Link to comment
davidmalcolmson 0 Posted June 27, 2003 That overdone trick of selective colouring actually works here.I like the strong angular composition and the lighting. Reminds me of those 1940s films about low life in the Bronx. Link to comment
matt_l.1 0 Posted July 4, 2003 Hmm, nice but i think a different color for the light would be better. This reminds me of some special effect primordal goo. I'd also prefer some more shadow detail Link to comment
aryeh_hillman 0 Posted July 9, 2003 its a very interesting shot, but i would have either kept the entire photo in color, or would have left the light in black and white (if photo ever was in color?). the light distracts from some of the really good aspects of this picture Link to comment
