Lannie,

Interesting Church! Do you know when it was built or established?

The lighting and even the shadow's in the wooded surroundings enhance it's form as well as your photograph of it.

Well done!

I don't get over this way (Architecture) very much, but I too posted a Church photo this evening.

I was doing a little "storm chasing" yesterday and found an interesting old Church that was built in 1895 and took a few shots.

I expect North Carolina would have many more older Churches than we do here in Kansas!

It's been a nice visit to your Photograph,

Regards,

Jim j.

Lanny:  What a great church!  I very much like the lighting and how the shadows fall on the building.  Do you know anyting about the history of the church and the building?  Tom

Thanks, Jim, Diane, Tom.

I will be looking into the history of this church soon.  I took this shot some time ago and am not even sure which denomination it was.  (I think that it was ARP--Associate Reformed Presbyterian.)

so very lovely.  the shadows are wonderful, particularly with the sumptuous colours.  it's a Hopper.  it would go into "Favorites" except there's already an almost unbeatable one there.  best, jamie
