wood 1 Posted April 27, 2012 An excellent and captivating portrait. The sepia treatment works well here. Nice work, Chuck. Link to comment
color 3 Posted April 27, 2012 Thanks Robert, glad you enjoyed it. BTW, I added the sepia because this was one time when it seemed to that having that bit of tint was nicer than just B&W. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted April 29, 2012 Hi Chuck, it appears the your 'sweetie' and the dog feel equally as enamored. What a beautiful dog. Lovely markings. I can see 'the delight' at having this new friend in her eye(s). They are such good friends and there is something about that kind of 'companionship' that can not be found in another. Have you picked out a name???? The treatment you used works very well for this image. Beautiful!Warmest regards, Gail Link to comment
color 3 Posted April 30, 2012 She is named Bailey. Actually the animal shelter had given her that name and we decided to keep the name. She has fit in well here and we are very fond of her. She's friendly with everyone she meets, so when children want to pet her we let them without fear, still watching closely, but no problems. We were going to wait a few more months before getting a new dog, but decided to go ahead and adopt a new one. Glad we did. Link to comment
