His brother fell in about a year before; mother, aunts and keepers

all ran to his aid and pulled him back up. He was totally unharmed

and still loves the water. His little brother seems a little more

cautious. You never know though - all the little ones run around like

daft puppies. We were there again today and this little fellow (now

somewhat older) had a truck tyre stuck on his head for about 10

minutes; he was walking backwards the whole time trying to shake it

loose. All the adults just ignored him and let him figure it out for

himself.

What a fascinating story Mike. I have only ever seen a few elephants, never ones as well taken care of as these ones. I can't imagine them running around like 'daft puppies' !! For their size it must be quite funny. I look at this little guy and it makes me think of my 'puppie' - a little over a year but still full of mischief and fun. Excellent capture.
