Very nice, Tony.  Great, sweet light.  Good detail in the feathers.  Perfect composition; since the owl is looking to the right, that's where the larger space is.  Can't find anything to criticize.

Can I ask where this was taken?  I have photographed burrowing owls in Cape Coral, FL, but nowhere else.  Thanks!

Best regards,

Dennis

Cape Coral, that's the place.  Someone told me where to look and I really didn't know what to look for until I saw a couple of other photographers gathered around a nest of two of them.  We all kept a safe distance so as not to disturb them.  I was lucky to catch them just as the sun came up to our back, casting a wonderful golden light.
