djali 0 Posted August 22, 2003 Great. I`ve been looking through your portfolio and liked almost all your works. Undoubtedly you have your own vision and style. Link to comment
ciofalo 0 Posted November 3, 2003 I wonder why I haven't rated this photo so far. It is one of the most "metaphysical" in your portfolio, reminiscent of the urban landscapes by De Chirico and Sironi in 1900-1940 Italy. It is also one of the most "minimalist". I used to like these subjects more some time ago; now I am going through a sort of "aesthetical crisis", in that I wonder more and more often whether they do not reflect an excessively pessimistic and gloomy vision of life... rjacksonphoto 0 Posted February 23, 2004 Interesting use of compressed perspective. The various lines are somewhat disorienting, not always a bad thing with an abstract. I'm curious, though-- did you resubmit this today-- I saw it already over the weekend and now it is back on the "Fine Art" front page again. Link to comment
billangel 9,671 Posted November 13, 2004 Interesting, thought provoking image. It could be captioned something like "Up or Down", as the ladder would allow a person to ascend to higher levels, while the "man-hole" (with the cover removed) would facilitate descent to lower levels in this world. I agree with a previous critic that this is a "minimalist" composition. Link to comment
