The woman in shorts might seem to be the center of attention here, but it is the reflections and the wet pavement that make the shot worth looking at, in my opinion.

A few seconds after this shot was made, the skies opened.  (See the next shot in the folder.)

Upon further reflection, I have to say that I am inspired by this shot to consider the possibility of creating an entire new photographic genre: wet pavement nudes.  My experience of this day taught me to look for flat, black surfaces with good lighting above.

In the final analysis, the subjects don't matter so much.  One great and profound truth emerged from these Labor Day Shootings: reflections are everything.
