Nice composed and seen this clearing with old grass after winter cold,I am not so sure if I like the distortions of this lens at 10mm,is a bit unusual to the eyes.

Yes it is good to see some grass, even this type after a long winter under the snow.I agree that the distorted images from such a lense is not to everybody's taste. In this case, the already warping and aged structure is further distorted from being off center in the frame.I don't mind it so much and often will bring any structure closest to the edge as possible to give it an exagerated lean which can be less aggravating to the eye than a barely detectable one.Again, thank you for your always welcomed comments even on those warped images from my favorite 10-20mm lense.

I like the splash of red against the cobolt blue sky.Well composed however distorted lens dosn't appeal to me.

I love the subject matter and the contrast of colors.  I am also in the camp of not being fond of such distorted images, but I see from your portfolio that you do like to 'play' with this lens.  :-)  But you obviously know how to take straight images as well, so this is just an artistic option for you.   I must say that I agree with your comment 'an exagerated lean which can be less aggravating to the eye than a barely detectable one'.

Thank you for viewing and for your understanding comment. For what it's worth,I may just add that in a relatively small community/area as this one,the objects of photo interest such as this abandonned house are not plentiful,so when the variance of the seasons have been exhausted, one looks to other artifacts to present these under a different eye;a look at my portfolio will reveal some of our local sites repeated under different dressings.Again, thank you for the visit.
