Once again you prove that being constantly on the way is the base of your success. You captured a beautiful family moment. Composition is great and your black and white as always immaculate. Thank you for sharing.

Best regards,

Herman

Ruud, Between the two people seems to be a lack of communication. The presence of the mailbox strengthen this. Beautiful image. Best regards.

Another excellent job of capturing a street scene! You have to wonder what he is actually looking at. (and the fact that we don't see it actually adds to the feeling that there is no communication between the two people in the photo). Well done!!!

Hi Rudd, Back to the street I see. Fine B&W as always and a good telling story image. Well composed.

Rather relaxed the man counting on his fingers while the woman is caring for the child...but in your great B/W.Bravo!

Wonderful street scene, Ruud. I always marvel at the way you (and some others on PN also) find attractive street scenes - an area where I am a loser :). Best regards.

Ruud, this is really a nice moment.  One thing.  I feel your couple is stuck way too much into the left corner.  This could be a good reason for cropping a bit out of the right side, even at the expense of the environmental context factor.  I do like the dad looking a bit useless as mom tends to the baby.

A second thought.  I have noticed that the man is looking at the mail box not at his wife and child.  So I think this it is necessary and should not be cut out.  I see elements working better this time than at first glance.

Ruud,

Just an "everyday" street scene that never catches our eyes until we really look at it. This is a superb shot!!!

Your street photos are always interesting. You took daily life moments that are usual but your prospective is everytime very  personal

Bravo!!
