jeffrey_hitchens 0 Posted June 21, 2003 I like the background. The change in brightness from the bottom right corner to the upper left corner doesn't make it boring. The lighting is good also. The only thing that I think I don't like is that I can't see the other hand. I think it would of looked better if she had her other arm behind her, but that's a little cliche. It would be best to try out both. I should remember that. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 23, 2003 This photo is a follow up to a critique I requested some time ago entitled "Would you like to see more." As you can see this photo shows more! Any comments / comparisons / critiques and ratings are welcome. Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted June 23, 2003 "Would you like to see more" is better to my mind. That looks quite a good portrait, but this one looks like its setting the scene for a soft porn set. But to answer the question, no I think the expression works well. Link to comment
jefflowestudios 0 Posted July 15, 2003 Excellent! I am trying this type of photography as well, it's tough to get the look and feel that you want without going over to the side of sleazy. I love the angle that you used in this shot The lighting is great, the expression is perfect, no need for a smile. You've done well with this series thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 6, 2004 If I was as easily bored as you Thomas, I would have killed myself long ago! I am honoured that in the 4 + years that you have been a member of photo.net that I am the only photographer worthy of your comments. You are not only boring! You are sad! Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted March 8, 2009 Wandering randomly among your folders today sunday morning suddenly I found out this image. I can't explain why, but her expression and mainly her gaze put a spell on me, I can stare an entire life. You've captured her beauty and much more, a character, a mystery deliciously erotic, and it is very difficult to do in photography. A very simple but delicate composition, the diagonal, the pastel tonal range, the lightning, everything meaning softly and calm, but what a facial language! She don't need smile at all. Mesmerizing. davidmccracken 2 Posted March 9, 2009 Your comment made me think. It is nearly 5 years since anyone commented on this image and I realise it is quite a long time since I have seen this girl. She was a great model to work with. I really must try to contact her again. Your encouragement is much appreciated. Link to comment
