Pierre Dumas 261 Posted April 18, 2012 Seven all the way, I'm glad to see a picture with an average of above six, it wasn't so rare in the past times!Best regards Wanghan!PDE Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted April 18, 2012 Wanghan, this is just stunning. Sunset colours are among my favorites. It must be partly from the feeling one gets when experiencing such a sight. I've never see a sunset as beautiful as this, but hopefully one day. When I look at this piece I think of the 'Heavens and the Earth - almost Colliding', but instead they come close enough to EMBRACE each other, and then 'dance' for you as the reflections and light, minute by minute dance for you until it is time for them both to retire into the night.Lovely! Best from me! Warm regards, Gail Link to comment
garyreynolds 0 Posted April 18, 2012 Very nice. This is the kind of image I would have up on my wall. The colors are rich and the effect of the light on those clouds is amazing. Good job! Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted April 18, 2012 Hi Wanghan,The image appears to be nice at this size.Upon close examination, it appears that whatever lens was used (no EXIF data supplied), that it was probably stopped down enough to cause the definition loss that I see within the elements of this image. It is still a pleasant view, but not to the highest technical standards that I strive for from my lens.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
slavomirmisko 0 Posted April 18, 2012 One of your best ones Wanghan! Sky is just amazing at its best, composition is accurate! This is what i call to be in right time at right place! all the best!... Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted April 19, 2012 I hope Mike Palermiti will explain more of what he means about this being deficient in some way. Unfortunately, a larger view is not available, but on my small laptop screen this is spot-on perfect. Gorgeous sunset! I see a lot of diagonals in this, and I think it's an outstanding composition. JamieK 1 Posted April 19, 2012 I'm still not sure about it, though. It's a little like a postcard, which for me is a bad thing. Not for anyone else, though, to judge from the ratings. They seem to have invented new, bigger numbers for you!I think I would like more at the bottom, but I like the top as it is. I think a portrait orientation would have been better for me. It isn't that I want a wider lens. best, j Link to comment
maranwilson 1 Posted April 20, 2012 You just don't come across skies like that every day. Amazing. I bet it only lasted for a few seconds too before losing the color. Nice job on getting the shot. Link to comment
