Pierre, yes, Dalmatia is a paradise for the lovers of ancient buildings and if you have the opportunity to visit, HURRY UP! - everyday is less and less. I try to capture as more as possible before it's too late. And in Macedonia I think that you still have wonderfull old towns to photograph before the progress come (and new shopping malls).
