briany 0 Posted June 14, 2003 Beautiful lighting, clothing, and model. I think it's a stunningly gorgeous shot. But her hand position doesn't make me think of prenancy. It looks right under her breast, whereas I would expect it to be down (unless the baby's growing in her right ventricle ;-) Makes me think her ribs are hurting. Link to comment
keaggy220 0 Posted June 14, 2003 I'll say it too - the lighting is incredible, beautiful portrait. Creative crop that works well. I think the hand is a great touch. Link to comment
magumi 0 Posted June 14, 2003 Great lighting, pose and model. On the other hand, I think that the crop is too tight. In my opinion the picture would work better it the ear tip or the eyebrow of the model did not touch the edges. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 15, 2003 As said above, the lighting is excellent. I also like the composition a lot! There is some kind of waiting atmosphere. Beautiful work! Link to comment
vishwa 0 Posted June 17, 2003 a problem with your DOF on this one. I find her hand not being in sharp focus something that is to the detriment of this image. I like the pose, the position of the hand especially.. but then this image is a tad short of being very good in terms of aesthetics. Link to comment
luke_powell 0 Posted June 17, 2003 I think I would prefer to see all/more of her head here...I'm not sure...great photo tho Link to comment
david_montroy 0 Posted June 18, 2003 I like the lighting, shadows and warm colors in this photo. Good work. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted June 19, 2003 That was dilema ...however I have apriciated the fact that as the hand seems to get away fom focus poit it leaves the face and expression as a priminary point of this shot and hand itself as a complimentry element. Still ,I can see what your point is and do agree that such a option could be possible. All the best . PK. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,777 Posted June 29, 2003 The shadows couldn't be more perfect. The thoughtful gaze keeps me interested. A fine photo. Link to comment
stefan1 0 Posted July 1, 2003 I would have liked a crop of the entire face only, the lighting there is incredibly good. Link to comment
