how on earth did you get this depth of field from the body out to the wing??!  Impressive!

I must join Ellery and ask the same... how did you do it. Is it stacked?

It is an beautiful clarity in the picture with perfect sharp details. The light clean background keeps your focus 100% on the motive. Wonderful!

As for the dof, I did not use focus stacking on this image. The dragonfly is one of my favorite subject, and indeed it is almost impossible to get get both the body and the wings in focus due to the span of the wings. Luckily, in this shot, this is a smaller specimen, the wings are folded very closely to the body, and share the same plane. Aperture was f/7.1 (effective f-stop)
