This hand painting is build with 'Myrtle'. Applying of myrtle to hands and feet is an important part of marriage caremony in India. It is a symbol of 'good omen' in India culture. 'Myrtle' is called 'Manhdi' in Hindi language. It is used for beautifying too. Thanks for having interest in Indian culture through this image.

This is a fabulous picture!! I look forward to the other shots that you talk about. Wonderful!! By the way - the black background was a great choice ... it makes the viewer look at the beautiful woman and her hands.

Surya, lovely wedding portrait! Most exotic for us Westerners, thus very interesting. It has however a beauty that is universal in quality. Congratulations. You should upload more images from the wedding.
