grrrrr.....I tried for like 20 minutes to get such a shot of this bee the other day...was not particularly successful...my first attempts at such a macro shot...your result is quite good, the sharpness around the eyes is great, even in the hear of the perimeter of the eye and the delicate splash of color and simple non-distracting background...it is excellent...

I think my difficulty was rooted in the fact that I was trying to get the shot on a deeper type of flower...guess it is like my mother always said: "patience is a virtue" - this is true with macro ....great shot...take care! Its a strong 6 for me.

ps, would also liked to have seen this at f11, but the very narrow DOF was well placed here so it work!
