It is my hobby to tell things about people on the basis of theirphysiognomy, I once could tell even the habitat of some people on thebasis of their physiognomy!

Thank you for your attention dearcolleagues!

Perhaps a 'Man Of Mystery' to most, but The 'Shadow' Knows...

It is amazing what one can learn to notice that will identify an individual, or at least enlighten the trained observer.

A very well crafted image my friend!

Interesting idea , well executed . I'm trying to work out , has the shutter suposed to have jammed . There are several interpretations of what the image conveys . Excellent work . Bill

An interesting change of pace - - it shows your adaptability.  If it were not for the filmstrip effects, I might think that this photograph was taken through a gun sight.  The second image clearly demonstrates how a subject's character can be altered by altering his facial structure.

Well done, my friend . . .

I like this original B/W portrait. It looks like a good looking individual, and nice use of film band.

like it! Mysterious, provoking, and human... And it is always inspiring for me - keep going. Best regards, Tamara

I may befriend the first and remain cautious with the second. The curve of the nose and the butting of the lower lip make me uneasy with the second man. Very original work, wonderfully presented. Complimnets.

Interesting stuff Pierre, makes me wonder what you conclude of me from the photo on my homepage. On second thoughts maybe it's best I don't know.

I think the original guy here is prehaps the more approachable of the two, although, that would depend, of course, on the nature of the approach.

Gareth.

the first would be a mild person, even soft; the second, more hardened, perhaps even pugnacious

I agree with Wanghan - really like old movie poster. Second silhouette is more impressive for me. Best wishes,Pierre.

What is even more fascinating is how just a few traits, the curvature of the lips for example, are instantly recognizable as to whom they belong. Actually the profile here brought to mind Mussolini !

An excellent image, bravo.

He has brains, I think, those are working very mathematical. He is living with   a parochialism. Interesting image, Pierre! Best regards.

Hi Pierre,

A brilliant creation.

I also appreciate the film leader.

I am so diverse, I do not think that you could do much in depth study of me.

Can you deduce my IQ ?

Best Regards,  Uncle Mike

Rajat, you are quite right about the character of this person!

Gareth, don't worry, I have seen your member page picture and I can tell you only good things and cynicism which is not so good, but it's of a selective nature!

Evgeni, you prefer criminals then?!

John, Mussolini had fat lips and wasn't very clever!

Marco, the guy studied and was finishing medical faculty and faculty of philosophy when I took this picture, so you estimated him very well! And he had limitation, but of ethic and psychological character!

Uncle Mike, I can't tell you your IQ, but I count on it for using it to follow my example of responding to comments!

Thank you all once again!

Mio caro Pierre, qui parla il mistero dell'uomo! Tutti noi dietro l'apparenza nascondiamo un ombra nella quale forse neanche noi stessi sappiamo leggere.

The background of the image reminds me of an image similar to what we would see on our TV's years ago (when I was a child...many, many years ago!! :-0 !), after the 'tubes' heated up, a pattern with a symbol would show in the centre of the TV, also when TV stations shut down for the night. Don't recall the symbol in the centre. (a Buffalo ?)

The 'Filmstrip' suits the image and was a great choice. I find that the Silhoette, upon first impression, his clothing may be that of someone very mysterious. But the silhoette of his face seems to be one of a more 'gentile' nature.

True to your 'signature' Pierre, creative, and thought provoking, yet you've created this image I think in a more 'relaxed' environment of thought  process.

Well done 'Wizard'!!

Warmest regards, Gail
