Very nice quality of light, story-telling moment, huge eyes. Cropping out the cup on the left, the yellow thing lower right, and your name/logo would allow 100% of the attention to go to the boy. The yellow plate is not distracting because it is small in the composition and its' reflection to seen in the bottom of the boy's eyes. For me this image is a 5, as is, and would be a 6 with the changes I mentioned.
