Interesting use of recycling.

Terrific, Chuck. I like the offbeat way you have composed this with the ocean of pavement in front and a crowded island of bicycles in the background. I like the toning here, too. I'll be interested to see the reactions to this picture.

Thanks. I have realized from looking at other people's work, especially Eunene Atget, that having a broader view of a subject can be as good as zeroing in on it, maybe even better sometimes. So in this image I chose to include a lot of the sidewalk.

As for comments this might get, hmm. This was posted, what, a week ago?, and doesn't seem to have gotten much attention. I'm starting to wonder if I'll want to re-up for a new year's membership next time it comes around. I'm sure not having as much fun on P'net as I used to, even though I think the quality of my work is not less. I guess I need to get a 400mm lens and start shooting nice color pics of birds with fish in their beaks since that is the currently favorite type of image here.

Nice still life these folks have created for themselves. Nice image of it too and I very much like the postwork.
