Excellent shot! A wonderfully smooth sweep. Fantastic the way the photo even picks up on the swans' shadows on the ground. The motion in the photo is just fantastic. No comments, just praise for a great shot!

Sharpness of animal pictures is no longer a quality criterion, since any small camera produces sharp images. I am trying with pictures like this one to find an alternative

Really like the motion here! Nice job. One head is relatively clear, everything else blurred with motion. Just great!

My initial enjoyment in your panning shot of the swans was spoilt by your patronizing and dismissive remarks about other bird photography.  It is apparent to me that you have never driven a boat with your foot, whilst capturing a wonderfully detailed shot of an osprey catching a fish, handholding a D3 with a 300mm 2.8 lens, (see Steve  Vincent's photostream), or even teetered on a step ladder, like myself, on a boat, to get pictures of egret chicks in their nest etc.  Also, try taking pictures in the near dark with a point and shoot. 

Nice shot with the mood of moving or flying.  Nice composition.  Best Regards,
