Tiger Flower - Kind?

Found this flower while waiting for class at Santa Clara University. The color caught

my eye!

I have never seen a flower quite like this with the red on yellow spots and all. Anyhow, the depth of field seems very shallow, you must have had the lens wide open, perhaps one stop down would have produced more desirable DOF although some may like the blurred fore and background.

Very nice color. Wider DOF would be better.

Sharpness is good but DOF could be better. Colors and light are beautiful.
