I like the compositon - it works very well. At least on my screen it appears a bit dark, but it's well done and the frame works well. Great light. - focus

Condrado, This wonderfully lit and composed stillife must be one of the most compelling I have yet seen - and then I include the 17th century Dutch Masters! Ostensible just a lining up of ingredients for a meal, the thoughtful way you have placed the aggressive knife against the two halts of the sliced lemon, complemented by the two empty shells of the egg of which the two insides lie in the oil in the glass bowl signify so much more. Like in the early stillife tradition the idea of life and death is evoked, but in a so much subtler way. Here, even the folds of the cloth tie up with the idea of something lost, something won - it is at once (for me) a reference to flowing water (i.e. life, like the egg yokes) and tears. Wow! Toast to you.

Conrado, A beautiful mood. Bravissimo. The light works its way across the scene so gently - but perhaps it could have been feathered off the left edge of the tablecloth to make it seem to come from a greater distance?
