Rajat, I also really like the strong light in this and how the bus seems to emerge from it. Your viewpoint and the placement of the people and stacks of papers works nicely in the space.

Hi Rajat,

I trust that viewers will begin to better understand why I am proponent for using good lens at their wide open or near wide open apertures. The 20mm F/1.7 lens at F/2.8 is well with in its highest performance range .

The clarity of your images show this well.

Best Regards,  Mike

It's an interesting picture. The strong lgith as well as the contrast give it a greater appeal.

I really like this image Rajat. For some reason, it reminds me of 'time travel'. A 'slice out of life' a brief moment where these people are busy with their own agendas. There is the feeling of time standing still, yet also with the man who is walking on the right - a feeling of 'movement', where life, while standing still for a few, is still moving forward for 'others'.

We so not know where the bus driver really is, or if there are passengers on the bus, but also the 'unseen' are 'busy with their own agendas'. LIGHT is very key to this composition. I don't see it as areas that are 'blown' but as that 'middle space', almost as a 'portal' where observers such as myself  may leave and step into another 'space-time continuium'.

I don't mean to sound all 'sci-fi' but it is a 'feeling' this composition evokes in me.

Excellent eye Rajat! Warm regards, Gail

Who could top Gail's comments?  I'm wondering what these folks do for the rest of the day after the rush & all their newspapers are sold.  Good 'slice of life' shot. A tiny glimpse of Hong Kong for the rest of the world.  Best, LM.
