I see you have one of the new 5D's.  Congratulations.  Much improved autofocus I hear.  Very nice light on this one.  Great detail in the feathers.  Very close shot.  Like it a lot.

I'm envious of the beautiful underwing lighting you have captured. It highlights the defininition of the feathers. A lovely capture with eye-highlight to boot.

One tiny, tiny nitpik would be to have allowed more space to the right (as viewed) to create some movement to the image.

A lovely shot nevertheless.......... well done.

Hi Phil, Thanks for commenting. The image was captured with the new 5D and the autofocus and IQ is very impressive. The low light performance is also superb, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Warm regards Mark

Hi Grayham, Thanks for the comment. The image was captured with a hand held 500mm lens and was near the frame edge - only way to get more space was with photoshop contextual fill :-), warm regards, Mark
