Very nice work!  My only suggestion would be to crop some of the excess off at the bottom of the frame.

I thank you for your suggestion Kathy, however, I do not find enough gain in the crop visually to change from a standardized format (8 x 10 inch) to one that is more unique (about an 8 x 9 inch format).  Best regards...

I like it the way it is. Love the contrast of the soft background and "sharp" bird.

I like the way you have captured the bird surrounded by a mass of soft colour, great dof and crisp sharpness where is matters. Very well done!

Thank you for your kind comments.  I had to wait on him for a while, unlike models, sparrows do not take direction, nor strike poses very often.  But they are free subjects.  This was one keeper from a group of three, not too bad an average in this instance.

Thank you for your kind comments.  I am quite pleased as well by how the colorful bokeh turned out.  Without the flowers, it would just have been another bird shot, and being of such a common variety, would not have meant as much in of itself.
