The tones here on the foreground are surreal and make for a unique feel to this photo. I am not sure if this is something that you did as a post processing effect but it has quite a unique feel and texture to it. At first glance I thought it was some kind of brown water but once I blew the image up I saw what it was.

A very interesting landscape that has a bit of an otherworldly feel to it.
