Mike....yeah, it was so cute with them each peeking out on either side of the tree.  I took a couple of pictures like this, and then they moved so that I could no longer see their front side.  I waited a LONG time for them to move, but they never did.  And I was also waiting for momma to come back and feed them, but she never showed.  I have to go in the a.m. because of the lighting, and I'm afraid they'll fly off before I can get there again in the a.m.

Just for full disclosure.....  I was fortunate that a friend told me about these owls in the woods in her back yard.   It's in our neighborhood, but I wouldn't have seen them otherwise.  It's a thrill to see them in the wild.  I only wish I could have seen the mother.  Thanks for your visits!
