Something about the color scheme in this really grabs me. The foggy gloom of the valley and the dark evergreens broken by the building's riotous orange serves to really accentuate the feeling of loneliness that this abandoned structure raises.

Have you considered an alternative crop? I was playing around with a few (something I do with every image that catches my eye), and found a panoramic, which I've attached.

Hi John-To panoramic or not.Guess it is an individual choice, one is not necessarily better than the other. For myself, I prefer the standard frame,especially in the large size, to me it can be a very effective landscape the larger the better.
