I spotted this small scene in a neighbor's yard among a host of ferns.

These tiny flowers are not related to the ferns but I believe are in

the Orchid family.

Beautifully processed Leo, a wonderful image.  I love the drama that you have created here.  Easily "7" work!

Now to the flower.  I have spent an hour trying to cross reference the beauty, and have not found it.  The only thing that can almost be certain of is that it is not an orchid. Judging by the four bracts surrounding small yellow flowers I would hazard a guess something more along the dogwood family, orchids have 2 petals with 3 sepals in a single flower structure.  I am also not to sure that the other plant is a fern.  The leaflets do not appear to have spore structures on the under surface.  I would love to finally know what these plants truly are, my curiosity is quite spiked!

Again wonderful work.  Best regards...

Thanks for your encouraging words, I do appreciate them. As for the flowers, it's still a mystery to me. I have seen these very small similar flowers on small orchid plants around in peoples yards, suspended in trees, etc., that looked similar, hence my conclusion. As for the ferns, they're very common here in Florida and are called, Dryopteris ludoviciana Florida Shield Fern. I even have these in my own yard. The spores are there just obscured in the image.

Thanks Pierre, there is a later edition of the PB filter available that is improved and more stable. It seems to work at higher resolutions better and did you know that you will get different results at different resolutions?
