overdiep 0 Posted March 31, 2012 Interesting composition. In the silence there is a dynamic movement. I like the soft colours. The position of the woman is central but not dominating. Best regards. Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted March 31, 2012 I really like the elegant pose and the refined look of the image overall, very "arty" looking, reminds me of a book cover for a romantic novel for some reason. Very well done!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
kristina_kraft 0 Posted April 1, 2012 Hi Bettie,to me this whole composition has a sort of "falling elements". The falling window, the chest looks its falling as well while being in juxtaposition with the window, and the branches in the vase too. The legs of the chair in a juxtaposition with the window seems they fall back. All this arrangement look dynamic and interesting to me, the way they encircle the artist.Kind regards,Kristina Link to comment
bettiecl 0 Posted April 1, 2012 Alf and Kristina, I really enjoy your insightful observations. Imagine Alf's romantic love story-book cover combined with Kristina's sense of "falling". Now, lets imagine a publisher or editor to put the two ideas together and choose a title like Falling in Love. :-))We'll all celebrate three-gether! Link to comment
kristina_kraft 0 Posted April 5, 2012 You made an interesting conclusion! I haven't even read Alf' comment until now. Anyway, my husband and Alf have commented on each other photos for some time. And Alf commented on mine as well. This is all interesting coincidence. Well, if you are gonna publish a book about this artist, please include my comment about this portrait of her! Kind regards,Kristina Link to comment
