You wait all winter for this day

A Just a few days after the Ice melted off this River in northern

Minnesota, I was there to put my Kayak in for a paddle up the river

along the Echo Trail. This winters mild temps. have allowed for a early

start to spring activities.

A lovely composition and the placement of the interesting objects in the frame. There are two suggestions I can give. 1. Try rather more interesting lighting where it is not so flat. 2. And for this image itself I would try increasing the saturation a bit. Currently the colors look a bit pale.

I find you did an excellent job on this photo. The kayak in the foreground adds a nice touch of color and the calm water stretches into the background leading your eye into the rest of it.
