Daniel, I really love the evocative quality of this image - at first glance no more than a tailors tools. But then the crossed yellow measuring tape and the two significantly place rolls of cotton suggest a pistol. Bondage: being measured and controlled by powers beyond one's own control seem to me the subtext.  or something to that effect.
