sambal 0 Posted June 9, 2003 Anders, no tripod was used with this moving object. Exposure time: 1/1000 sec; F-nr 3.5; ISO speed rating 157: may have caused some coarseness, or blurring. Although sunny, yet low winter light sometimes reduces the sharpness. Thanks for your critique. Link to comment

dem_photos 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Nice reflection! This is a difficult subject--high contrast between the dark head and white on the side and beak. An overcast day might have helped (though of course you have no control over that--and it might have required a slower shutter speed, too). In general, I prefer to see animals moving into a photo from a side, rather than in the middle moving out of the photo. Link to comment
