"Famous Door, dating back to 1934, is Bourbon Street's oldest live music

club still in business. The famous door refers to the front door of the bar that

many celebrities and musicians have autographed. Inside there is a sunken

dance floor situated in front of a glass-brick stage. The atmosphere is dark,

loud, neon and raw. The acoustics and lighting system enhances the

performances of the live New Orleans soul and blues bands. Later, when the

live music ends, the older folks leave and the bar transforms into a dance

club for the younger crowd..."

Hi Rajat,

Again, your well defined image shows the value of using a quality lens at F/2.

The levels are excellent as is the BW presentation.

Best Regards,  Mike

It is a very good composition. The lighting is superb, and the atmospher is interesting because  of the nice timing  and  the nice dispersion of the people( in the FG and BG. DOF is very good creating a nice corner of the building and the explanation adds a lot to get  closer  to what is going on.Very well executed in B/W, Rajat!

Excellent night shot with beautiful tonal range.  I'm not familiar with this place but will keep it in mind for our next visit...  Mike

Rajat, as others have mentioned, it has a very nice atmosphere and the Lucky Dog cart is the perfect touch. The B/W conversion is beautifully done and works really well. I wonder about the manhole cover in the center, if it's slightly too bright/distracting?
