This has great focus and detail.  Your exposure is perfect and the whites of the pelican are not blown out.  This is really good work.  

Thanks Bill! Yup, I did not have to do any adjustment for the white on this shot at 1/1250, F10 & ISO 200 - It's late afternoon sun (around 5:30PM) and that does help some. May be a bit later would help even more :-)

Really nice capture here of a difficult subject with great texture in the white feathers, nice color and excellent sharpness for a bird in flight. I also like the pleasing background which compliments the angle of the bird and the surprising low level of noise under the wings. Very well done, Tm J. Best regards, Rob
