It's reassuring to feel that someone else sees at least some of what I see in an image.  Maybe I'm not insane...??? hehehe

Dave, I find this piece just exquisite.  Wonderful, flowing dynamic motion, color and activity.  Quite engaging and a beautiful abstraction.

I would certainly encourage further work along these lines; it is not the stuff of most photographers portfolio but stands well on its own nonetheless. You may want to look up the artist  Leonardo Nierman,  he has a similar painting style.  The net will not demonstrate the 3-dimensional depth (paint is mixed with clear gels, layered on top itself) or brilliant color of his work but I think you may see some similarities.
