I'm not quite sure what you want us to comment on here. I appreciate that you were testing your new lens and to that end, I would have expected to see an image of a single subject showing the clarity that the lens can achieve.

For me, the colour of the sky doesn't seem right, and the content within the frame is too far away to determin any subject clarity.

As this specific lens holds some interest for me, I would like to see better "specifics" of what it can achieve.

Best regards

Hi Grayham,

Thanks very much for your query.

This image shows both moving & still objects. All are about 0.3 miles away.

The camera was hand held, not on a tripod.

I can clearly see that the birds are white herons. Although they're moving, their images are not blurred. The colors of their beaks & legs also show.

The greyish sky color is fine with me, but if one would want it to have another color, the computer can change it. It also depends on the monitor & graphics card.

That's it what makes me enthusiastic about this lens.

What do you think now?

Cheers,

Sam
