A very attractive image - nice colours, light, textures and composition. Maybe it's my square head but I tend to make lines in the photo parallel with the eges - changing the alignment of the brickwork on the right with the crop tool. I would also probably cut out the top portion of the photo, so avoiding the darker areas over on the left.

But a very pleasant image nonetheless. Congratulations!

crisp well observed Byzantine-like mosaic and simple geometry of steel. the allure of stairs is hard to avoid. all works well, except a couple of things:

1. a perspective may use a little bit of vertical correction.

2. the black blob in the top left corner (vignetting?) is visually annoying.

Thank you again Naftaly for your kind comments and precise observations. The black "blob" as you call it, at the top left, is actually a salient platform, which I did not want to take out by cloning. It is part of the scene, and you can see the rust drippings of the supports of this metallic platform. As to the vertical perspective, you are right. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to compose the shot. I just saw this in a fleeting moment and I had to catch the sight. I therefore left it as it is rather than loose the shot altogether. Many thanks for your time. Best regards.

Hi Daniel. The interesting thing about this picture is the geometry and its lines.  They give balance, depth, perspective and expressive power. I also like the contrast between light and color. Nice work! and... good eye!

Regards,

Rosario.
