definitely beautiful, but it's hard for it to fit into any sort of body of work.  perhaps if you had ten of them together...  best, j

(this is curiously, precisely the same comment I just left for Tony Hadley, who took a couple of lovely but lost details.)  five.  best, j

I know exactly what you mean, Jamie--and at nothing wider than 28mm there was no overarching wide sky shot possible.  That is not to say that 28mm is not pretty wide, but it sure does not provide the compositional possibilities of a superwide zoom.  (I have the Sigma 12-24 for Canon, but nothing wider at present for a Nikon mount than the 28-200 in two incarnations, the IF-D and G versions.  These were shot with the IF-D version--the one with the metal mount.  The G version gives good results, but has a plastic mount.  I have not done a side-by-side comparison of the two 28-200 Nikkors for resolution.)

it would make a great book cover or advertising poster.  it could be used in a this-versus-that situation.  best, j

The Supreme Court has recently ruled that you can't patent stuff just because it looks cool.  well, more or less.  j
