Black-crowned Night Heron 1

Well seen, well framed. Just losing the bird's back against the water a little, and it does appear a tad over sharpened - there's a kind of speckled effect to the bird and log. This could just be a biproduct of uploading it though. Well done though. Good work.

I agree with Graham's comment about the loss of detail in the birds back, due to the dark background....... so I hope you don't mind that I just lightened the background a tad, to show off the full Heron?

A lovely capture nevertheless.... good definition in the plumage.
