It does have a distinctive look to it.  Personally, the greatly reduced sharpness of the eyes is the feature that troubles me the most, followed by a plate that was not perfectly clean.  I'm less sure about the vignetting; can't say for sure if I think it was a bit overdone -- for this photo, it may be appropriate.  It's an interesting alternative to digital smoothness and digital detail.
