You used unusual approach, Dimitris, and you made it to stand out. Which is great. Couple of comments. Green at the bottom of the tree on left is not in harmony with the rest of the image. I will tend to desaturate it a bit. And bright spot above the branch on left side next to the tree - I would tend to darken and blur so it appears similar to other areas above horizon. Both things will help to keep attention on sharp and in focus parts of the branch. By the way, that pastel green close to horizon level is great. In nature photography it is always a question how much you would alter what you captured. In this case I think you should not be concerned much about keeping image as is. Here you are taking artistic approach, rather than "naturalistic".

thank you for commenting my friend...every new spring fills my heart with the joy of the rebirth of nature and I am sure most people feel like that and yes it will come and go as you said a sad reminder of our own mortality...

Thank you very much about that gem of a comment my friend. I was very tempted to cut the tree out but the photo did not work. You have confirmed my suspicion however. I find your advice very useful and constructive.
